Refund and return policy

One Dollar CV sells digital PDF documents that are delivered instantly. You can preview your entire document free before paying, so you always know exactly what you are buying. This policy explains when we refund and how.

1. Preview before you pay

Every template can be edited and previewed in full, with a live ATS score, before payment. The PDF you buy matches the preview without the watermark. Please check names, dates and spelling before you buy.

2. When you get a refund

We will refund you in full if, within 7 days of purchase:

  • Payment was taken but the PDF could not be generated or downloaded, and we cannot fix it for you.
  • You were charged twice for the same order.
  • The PDF is corrupted, unreadable or clearly different from the preview because of a fault on our side.
  • You were charged without authorising the payment (please also contact your bank or wallet provider).

3. When we cannot refund

As the product is a digital file delivered immediately, we generally cannot refund a PDF that was downloaded successfully because you changed your mind, made a typing mistake you could have seen in the preview, or did not get the job. If you need changes after buying, edit the document and download it again. An edited document counts as a new download.

4. Returns

There are no physical goods, so nothing needs to be returned. A refunded order's download link is deactivated.

5. How to request a refund

Email ask@onedollarcv.com or use the contact form (topic: Refund request) within 7 days of purchase. Include:

  • The email used for the order and your retrieval code or order number (both are in your receipt email).
  • A short description of the problem and, if possible, a screenshot.

We reply within 1 working day and often fix download problems straight away.

6. How long refunds take

  • Card payments (Stripe or PayFast): refunded to the original card. They usually appear within 5–10 working days, depending on your bank.
  • JazzCash and Easypaisa (via PayFast): refunded to the same wallet account, usually within 3–7 working days.
  • We cannot refund to a different account, card or person than the one that paid.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. We resolve almost every issue faster than a chargeback, and disputed orders are suspended while the dispute is open.
